One of the hardest challenges that professional videographers face is to convince future clients why they should have their wedding day captured by a professional company. They may well have a friend or relative who has a video camera but it is highly unlikely that they will have access to professional cameras, radio microphones and sturdy tripods, not to mention the editing equipment that is used to piece together the captured footage to create an entertaining and highly emotional wedding film.
It is also very unlikely that they will have the knowledge or experience that goes to capturing the live events of the day. There are no retakes when filming a wedding so do not chance letting an amateur record one of the most defining moments of your life.

) to see what a professional institute has to say about filming a wedding.
What areas do you cover?
Although we are based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, we cover the whole of the UK. Many of our weddings are filmed not only in Yorkshire but also in the counties of Lancashire and Cheshire.
What would make us choose to book with CRS?
Perhaps it may convince you if you read comments from some of our previous satisfied clients. We would also be happy for you to see the original comments that they sent us. We think we are very easy going and are happy to accommodate any of your requests. With our meticulous approach to filming and editing you will see why our clients were happy to choose us.
Do you attend the rehearsals?
We will always attend your church rehearsal to ensure that we are satisfied with our camera positions. In the event that we are unable to attend, we shall still arrange to meet with the church official to agree on the filming protocol.
How will we receive our finished film?
As all our weddings are personal to the bride and groom, so is the finished DVD and wedding case. We print a photograph of the bride and groom along with the names and date of wedding on either matt or glossy DVD. We supply the DVD in a personalised wedding case with printed names and pictures of the main wedding party.
What will be the duration of the finished film?
We can not give a precise answer to this but generally each film we produce lasts between 75 to 95 minutes.
Do you offer any discounts?
Please do not embarrass us or yourselves by asking us to beat another companies price, if they are cheaper than us, then there is probably a very good reason for it. We feel our prices are amongst the best you will find for the service that we provide.
How will you be dressed on the day?
We are always smartly dressed on the day wearing jackets and ties, this way we can blend in with your other guests.
Can we choose our own music?
Certainly, in fact we prefer that so the finished film is even more personal to you. In order for us to legally use copyright music, we purchase the necessary licence from Phonographic Performance Ltd.
Are you insured?
As a professional company, we carry both public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
Could we have a reduction if we only had one camera operator?
No, we firmly believe that to make a quality wedding film requires the action to be captured from different angles. You will see good examples of this if you watch our coverage of a ceremony or the speeches. In fact, your wedding will be filmed using three cameras during the ceremony, speeches and first dance.
Are there any other costs?
We believe in being totally up front with our costs and apart from the ones published in our literature, the only cost that will have to be quoted are for any additional mileage charges.
